WikiSynergy:Privacy policy
This wiki asks for nothing it does not need, because the subject attracts people who would rather not be listed anywhere.
The web server logs each request with the IP address, time, page, browser string and the rest of the headers, and it keeps that log. The IP address in an entry is discarded after a year.
An edit made without a user name is signed with no name at all; your IP address is not written into the page history and is not shown on the wiki. Pick a name in the edit form if you want the edit credited to you.
An account stores the user name and a hash of the password. No e-mail address is asked for and none is kept. The login cookie lasts a month; saving an edit leaves another that lasts a year.
Everything saved in an article, on a talk page, or in an edit summary is public and stays in the history for as long as the wiki runs. Please do not record yourself or anybody else as having attended a sitting, a circle or a session.
